Well, we're nearing the end of the 1st quarter of 2008 and as you're racking up advertising and marketing costs (not a bad thing), I'm gonna show you how to rack up additional income streams for your Home Business enterprise to offset those costs…the right way…
As you're promoting and marketing your product and/or business opportunity it is a known fact that approximately 90% of your prospects will not take any action or make a purchase. Sounds like a disturbingly high number but this is universal in sales and marketing in any business. It's always a numbers game which is why you need to get your message in front of as many people as possible on a daily basis. Tip-Toeing around will do you no good.
So what to do with those 90% "no action takers" you ask?
As you're building an email list of potential prospects and customers that have viewed your offer (and you should be building your own list), 90% of them, as mentioned, won't do anything. So it becomes important at this point to monetize (offset) the cost associated with getting that lead in the first place…just like the pros do.
The answer...
Provide them with another "paid" educational or informational product or two through an Affiliate Marketing Offer – However, DO NOT provide your prospects with another product or business opportunity. That is a rookie mentality and shows no conviction or belief in your product or business.

What people don't realize is that each Affiliate Marketing program you join should be treated as a business...or an extension of your business I like to say. This is very important. Too many people expect to place a simple link to an Affiliate offer on their site and begin making money right away. If only it were that easy...
To truly have Affiliate Marketing success, you have to put some effort into each program you're marketing and do some planning. It all begins with a little research. The easiest way to persuade someone that they need the education or information product you are promoting is if you believe in the product yourself becuase you purchased and used the product yourself.

1) Adding carefully chosen affiliate offers to your email auto-responders on chosen days...usually many days after your prospect has viewed your product and/or business opportunity. Since they're already on "your list" this is pretty simple to do.
2) Publishing your own Ezine (just like this one) where you can periodically make product recommendations to your subscribers to benefit them in their business. You may want to seriously consider publishing your own Ezine at some point. This is one of the tried and true strategies used by top marketing experts all over the world to build relationships with no boundaries...

By joining multiple Affiliate programs, it becomes difficult to market the various programs efficiently. That is why two or three programs at the most are best. This will allow you to properly market them while staying focused on marketing and building your Home Business FIRST and marketing an Affiliate offer or two SECOND...Very important.
