"Still Climbing The Wall Of Disappointment?"

The other day I was listening to a powerful cd by the late, great Vince Lombardi, considered by many to be the greatest football coach of all time AND considered one of the greatest motivators of all time...
As some of you know, I played football my entire life...at the #2 ranked football high school in the entire state of Massachusetts and then on to a very strong NCAA Division 1 powerhouse, Hofstra University. These two schools have sent A LOT of guys to the NFL in the last 10 years.
There is no doubt in my mind that the grueling discipline and work ethic required to play football at this level shaped me as an Entrepreneur to this day -- No doubt in my mind. It's tough to rattle a football player, or any high level athlete for that matter.
No one could rattle Vince Lombardi. In fact, many downright feared him. There's a very important lesson coming. Stay with me...
Vince was known specifically for two things:
1. An incredibly "focused" and determined work ethic and;
2. A "ruthless" commitment to excellence – not only in himself, but in others as well.
Whether you like football or not, we can all learn A LOT from the greatest football coach of all time. Everyone of us can be a lot more "focused" and a whole lot more "ruthless" in our pursuit for greatness in our home business enterprise...
In fact, it’s the lack of "focus" and not being "ruthless" enough that has so, so many home business owners still clawing away for success, still climbing the wall of disappointment…and I don’t mean "ruthless" in a negative way, but in away where you never let the misfortune of others dictate your outcome or shape your future...
...An important lesson for the times we're in...where fear and doubt rule the land...not in the Entrepreneurs world though. In the Entrepreneurs world, "ruthless" is more of a "take no prisoners" term.
You may want to read that again.
Vince Lombardi was as ruthless as they come…no one's proven better, no one got more out of their people, and no one's created more winners…no one. Even after all these years…
