The 5 Key Areas Of Business And Why You Must Focus On Them And Develop Each One Of
Them At Once...

I hope you're having a great summer but I really hope you're not letting the dog days of summer get the best of you. Slower economic times call for sharper measures...sink or swim, as the saying goes...

What I'm about to share with you cost me and 300 other people thousands of dollars to hear. I suggest you print this.

I recently attended an underground seminar where the key note speaker for the day was Eben Pagan aka: David Deangelo, the creator of the brand "Double Your Dating," a $20 million dollar per year online business. That’s right -- $20 million.

Many of you may have heard of Eben Pagan as of late since he has recently revealed his identity (more on that in a moment) and has been featured in many newsletters and in seminars around the world.

Now, I've been around some pretty sharp people in my life graduating from a major Business University in New York, spending ten years in the financial services industry, and rising to the top of the direct marketing and network marketing industry over the past couple of years. But I must tell you...Eben was, by far the most intelligent guy I've ever seen or heard -- No kidding.

...And I've seen some famous CEO's of major companies speak live. It was like he was in a whole different place, a different zone. And, well, I guess he really is when you think about it...

You are about to learn what Eben shared with the group that allowed him to go from $0 dollars online to $20,000,000.00 online (yes that's 6 zeros after the 20) in just under six years.

I'm sharing it all with you as one of my valued subscribers to The Home Business Insider because this truly is some hard core insider information on business development and marketing strategy for the 21st Century...

...And the interesting part is, it's really rather simple. Most of us just miss it. Any quotations you see below are exact phrases from Eben Pagan at the event. So here we go...

'The' 5 Key Areas ...

1) You – "You are your highest leverage." You call the shots and you get to decide how big or how small you want to be. You control your state of mind. The size of your box is only limited by you. You must constantly be developing yourself and your skills. "To become a person who attracts, keeps, and develops great people, you must first develop yourself in many ways."

...Right to the point and right on.

2) Your Market – "Narrow your focus in the face of increasing opportunity." I thought this was interesting: "Develop the skill of overlooking opportunity." Hmmm…Contrary to popular belief. But, popular belief has never really won out when you think about it. Leaders don't follow the herd. They create the herd...

Simply put -- stop entertaining every idea that comes your way and stop jumping from the next great sounding idea to the next. Stop being a jack of all trades and a master of none. The masters win out. Stop trying to be all things to all people. It’s a rookie mindset. Commit and focus. And never lose focus...or you lose. Period.

Put the blinders on. Pick a direction and run with it like there is no tomorrow. THIS is where the big success starts to show up. Trust me.

Do you think Eben was entertaining other business opportunities while he was building his multi-million dollar empire early on? Of course not! He knew where he was going and he successfully developed the skill of "overlooking opportunity" once he created his opportunity...

...Valuable lesson NOT to be forgotten.

That couldn't have come at a more appropriate time than today as we are ALL over exposed and inundated with new information and new ideas everyday.

3) Your Marketing – You must create "public consciousness" in your marketing efforts. Look for customers who are looking for you. "It's better to be first than it is to be better."

Hmmm...Market share?

Make sure there is pain and urgency in your message or an "irrational passion." This causes an emotional drive from your prospect or customer and we all know that people act on emotion instead of logic 9 out of 10 times if given the choice. Its human nature.

When it comes to creating names for you or your business, "create names that are impossible to forget -- not easy to remember." Read that again.

Eben used the pen name David Deangelo, "Double Your Dating" for years. Say that a few times. It bounces around in your head, right? Tough to forget, huh? ...David Deangelo, Double Your Dating.

...And start giving away more for FREE. Don’t keep your best ideas a secret. Share them. Give them away. Lose the scarcity mentality. Give to get. Give away the "what to do." Sell the "how to do it."

Genius. Yet so simple...

Marketing guru Dan Kennedy says the most powerful word in the English language is…You guessed it: FREE

As a matter of fact the #1 tool now being used by Dan Kennedy's multi-million dollar marketing firm to introduce new customers to their marketing strategies is: "The Most Incredible FREE Gift Ever." This marketing strategy has generated millions of dollars in revenue for them.

4) Your People – When you start bringing people into your business to assist you with your growth (and this better be in your plans or you are NOT planning for success) make sure they are "Drivers."

I love this term. Drivers are people who focus on results not work. Big difference. A Driver has a sense of personal responsibility. In my world I call this "taking ownership" or what Eben says: "Taking ownership of the result." Even better. A driver is persistent and determined. A Driver does not need to be told what to do.

This is why Eben only hires Virtual Assistants in his multi-million dollar enterprise. Because he can give them ownership. He can pick out the stars and he has no obligation to them. He does not pay them a salary. He does not pay their benefits. They are independent contractors. VA's are not employees and they tend NOT to view their projects in terms of work but in terms of results (at least the good ones will).

VA's are becoming the secret of the wealthy in the internet marketing world these days and the growth of this industry has been staggering as of late. Personally I have 3 VA's working with me in my business. I couldn’t function at a high level without them.

Eben now has 80 full time VA's around the world.

5) Your Systems – Three words here: Automate, automate, and automate. "Automate the repetitive tasks and outsource the more complex projects."

BUT, and this is a big BUT: never outsource your copywriting or core marketing projects. This is your baby and no one knows your business like you do. Those of you who know me personally or are coached and mentored by me know that I feel pretty strongly about that last point and you should too.

Writing your own sales copy and your own ads whether it be emails, web site capture pages, or small sponsor ads is your most valuable skill and will allow you to be you in your advertising efforts.

So there you have it from one of the top (if not the top) internet marketers of our time. Bold statement, I know. I'm not afraid to make it though after hearing and seeing Eben speak for 2 hours and learning about the outrageous revenue he is pulling in.

Notice how often the word "Your" was used in his overview. Is there a theme developing here?

Everything is in YOUR control. YOU are your most important asset.

Get a handle on the above 5 key areas. Read it again. Print it. Study it. Understand it. Focus...

...And work on you.
